About This Project
The former US Embassy — a striking 1960s modernist building by Eero Saarinen — was reimagined as The Chancery Rosewood, a luxury hotel with over 140 rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a spa, and extensive event spaces. The transformation of this landmark building required careful, phased mechanical installation within an architecturally significant structure, where every system had to perform flawlessly and every installation had to be executed to the highest standard.
MPM’s scope on The Chancery Rosewood included fan coil unit distribution pipework, underfloor heating installations in premium suite areas, heating and cooling distribution throughout the building, and domestic water services. Working in a luxury hotel environment demands not only technical precision but also a meticulous approach to protection of finished surfaces, noise management, and coordination with the interior fit-out programme — all of which MPM managed as standard.
